What happens after I have sent my order to TotalPIX?

After you have sent your order to the TotalPIX Print Service, you will receive an email from us with a link to the payment site, a password and a login name. Click on the link and fill in the password and the login name. Here you fill in the colour of the cover (if you are ordering a Photobook), the number of copies you want to order and the delivery address. Then, click on the confirm button and you will be taken to the secure payment page (look for the closed padlock in the bottom right hand corner). Once you fill-in your payment details, your order will be shown on screen.

I have problems ordering. What is wrong?

The settings of you browser program (Internet Explorer) may be the cause of the problem. The browser must be enabled to accept 'cookies'. To check you have cookies enabled, go to 'Tools / Internet Options, tab 'Privacy'. The setting must be: 'normal' or 'accept cookies'.

The problem may also be caused by your Firewall. The TotalPIX software uses http and ftp to upload and download the files, so these must be opened on the Firewall. Under the menu option 'Settings-Advanced' in the TotalPIX software, you can choose between either a passive or an active ftp connection. Uncheck ‘passive FTP connection’ and try to upload again. If you still have problems uploading your project, temporarily disable the Firewall and try again. Reactivate the Firewall as soon as you have sent your order.

Why have I not received a confirmation of payment email after I have sent an order?

The most likely answer is that you have incorrectly entered your email address. Because this is an automatic process it is not possible for us to send the email again. The only solution is to change your email address under settings (identified by the spanner along the menu bar) and upload/order once more. As long as you have not made a payment, then your order will not have been passed for processing. Unpaid orders will be automatically removed from our server after four weeks.

The password does not work. What is wrong?

The password in our email must be copied very accurately. Make sure you copy lower case and/or capitals exactly. The easiest and most reliable way is to copy and paste the password rather than type it.

Can I make changes in my order after I have sent it?

Sorry, this isn’t possible. The only option is to create a new project.

If you have sent the order but not paid, then your original order will simply be removed from our server after four weeks. If you have paid, then your order has been passed for processing and cannot be taken out of the automated system.

Can I also have my order delivered at an address outside the UK?

Inside the UK your order will be delivered free of charge. When you enter your order information on the order page and then click on to the payment page, you will find information on tariffs for postage abroad at the bottom of the page.
